Day 01 :13 -06-2009
I arrived at Srinagar by flight from Mumbai.Got a shared taxi to Dal lake and checked into our house boat Golden Hopes.It wasnt a great boat but we got what we paid for (1200 bucks per room).Went to shikara ride in evening for an hour.I paid Rs 200 for the ride.i also went water skiing .A 3-5 minute ride costed me 250 rupees.Everybody here seemed to suck money out of your purse.Then i met my online friends Vinod and ashok.In Srinagar,be careful of honey laced words everybody tries to sell something.Shawls,fruits,kumkum etc.
